Blue day celebration by kindergartners of Trinity Central
School
“Let the blue sky meet the blue sea and all is blue
for a time.” - Mancy Barbour
Kindergartners of Trinity Central School celebrated “Blue
day” on the 15th of July 2022. All the kids dressed up in
shades of blue showcased pleasant and cool blue day. The
classrooms were decorated with blue balloons and children
were introduced to various objects that were blue in colour.
Different objects of shades of blue were displayed in the
classrooms like blue umbrella, blue car, blue cap, blue
flowers, etc. Children were made to name different pictures
in the classroom that had blue colour in them in order to
have a clear sense of colour and its importance.
The teachers guided the children in making charts that
included all the things in the surroundings that were blue
in colour like the ferns, clouds, ocean, dolphin, umbrella,
etc.
It was an amazing learning experience for children as the
importance of saving water (shade of blue) was also taught
on this day.
