Christmas Celebrations at Trinity Central School ‘It’s a time of joy, a time of peace, a time of
giving. A time when we all come together as one’.
Christmas is a celebration that is most anticipated by all
irrespective of race or religion, caste or creed. At Trinity
Central School, the celebrations were doubly jubilant as we
received an amazing opportunity from Daijiworld TV Udupi, to
present a Christmas programme – ‘Christhanjali’ on their
prestigious channel.
The Christmas programme, envisioned and performed by our
teachers, commenced with a meaningful introductory message
conveyed by our Principal, Rev. Fr. Anil D’Costa. The joy of
Christmas rang out loud, as a medley of Christmas carols
echoed across the skies.
In her Christmas message, Ms Magdalena Lewis, Academic
Co-ordinator expressed that Christmas, isn’t just about the
cake, crib, lights and sweets. The Christmas spirit lies is
us coming together to feed the homeless, comfort the
down-trodden, and bring a smile to lives of the less
fortunate.
A tableau significantly highlighting the challenges of the
world today, and how we must work together as one was
presented in a brilliantly educative mime act tableau,
performed by our teachers. The act highlighted how we humans
have lost the spirit of humanity in the name of consumerism
and greed. In a world that is now besieged because of Covid,
it is now during these tough times that we need to set aside
our differences and come together in love, hope, unity,
faith and humility to make the world a better place. With
the arrival of babe Jesus with his beloved parents, Mary and
Joseph, the curtains came down on the Christmas festivities
at Trinity Central School.
We thank Daijiworld Udupi for giving us this fantastic
opportunity.
Compliments of the season and best wishes for a healthy,
happy and prosperous new year 2021.
