CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS AT TRINITY CENTRAL SCHOOL
(KINDERGARTEN AND PRIMARY SECTION)
‘It’s a time of joy, a time of peace, and a time when
hearts are set free.’ It is the joyous moment when,
we await the coming of the Saviour of the world, our Lord
Jesus Christ.’
Yes, the season of cheer and joy is here - Christmas. With
excitement in their hearts, our tiny tots of the
kindergarten and students of the Primary Section made their
way in the portals of the school Trinitorium eagerly
awaiting to experience the joy of Christmas.
The Christmas festivities commenced with a beautiful prayer
song, led by the lovely children of UKG. Ms Seana of Grade 4
welcomed the gathering. The placing of the Babe Jesus in the
Christmas star by our Principal Rev. Fr. Anil D’Costa,
Pre-Primary In charge Fr. Lenson Lobo and Academic
Co-ordinator Ms Magdalena Lewis, heralded the commencement
of the Christmas celebrations.
After the cordial welcome rendered by Ms Seana, the portals
of the school campus were filled with the mellifluous voices
of the students of Grades 3 and 4, as they sung a medley of
Christmas carols. Christmas cuteness came in abundance as
our talented tiny tots of LKG pranced their way to the tunes
of ‘Feliz Navidad’. The story of Christmas which is shared
every year to remind us all about the significance of this
blessed feast was scripted through a meaningful tableau
presented by the students of Grades 3 and 4, who gave
exceptional performances. Following the tableau, the
students of Grades 1 and 2, took to the stage and rocked
their moves on the popular Christmas song ‘Jingle Bell
Rock’.
In his message, the Principal Rev. Fr. Anil D’Costa at first
asked the young children, their understanding of Christmas.
Across the field, the answers were ‘gifts’, ‘sweets’, ‘Santa
Claus’, etc. Whilst agreeing to their innocently creative
answers, Fr. Anil conveyed that Christmas isn’t just about
all these. All these are material facets of Christmas;
however, the real Christmas lies in the birth of Jesus who
came to teach us love, harmony, unity and forgiveness. The
principal appreciated the students for their amazing
performances. Academic Co-ordinator Ms Magdalena Lewis also
shared her views and said that the students had put in an
excellent performance and that she had enjoyed every moment
thoroughly. Both Fr. Anil and Ms Lewis also conveyed their
appreciation to the teachers as well for training the
students well.
Master Darsh of Grade 4 presented the Vote of Thanks, and
the programme was compered by Ms Lisha, Master Rance, Ms
Kreezma, Ms Shanaya, Master Ashish, Ms Princia, Ms Sheza and
Ms Shreesha.
