International Yoga Day : Trinity Central school
�Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.�

The International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21, 2023. Master Preetham and Ms. Aislin from grade 8 hosted the program which lasted for an hour.

The Lord�s prayer was Sung by the students of Grade 8. Ms. Unnathi of grade 8 welcomed the gathering.

The Principal Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo, Vice Principal and administrator Rev. Fr. Ravi Rajesh Serrao, academic coordinator Ms. Magadelina Lewis were present.

Further the importance of the day was articulated by Miss. Nishka of Grade 8 through a speech in which the uses, the functions and the results of practicing yoga were highlighted.

Few asanas were performed for an hour by the students of grade 8 while highlighting their importance through commentary. This session was guided by Ms. Veena and Ms. Namratha.

In his message, the principal Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo highlighted the need of yoga and asked the students to implement the practice of yoga in their daily routine.

Ms. Anushree of grade 8 proposed the vote of thanks. The curtain was drawn to the Yoga Day celebration by chanting yoga mantra and thereafter everyone joined the chorus in singing the school Anthem.
