OFFICIAL VISIT OF CEB EXECUTIVE SECRETARY – REV FR CHARLES FURTADO (07.11.2025)

On Monday, 07.11.2025 Rev Fr Charles Furtado, the Executive Secretary of the CEB paid his first official visit to the Trinity campus. A short programme compered by Ms Benita commenced with the invocation of God’s blessing through a prayer hymn rendered by the teachers. Fr Charles was accorded a floral welcome, followed by a felicitation by the Principal Rev Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo, Vice Principal and Administrator Rev Fr Amar Lobo and Academic Co-ordinator Ms Magadelena Lewis.

Following the felicitation, the Principal expressed his appreciation towards all the teaching, non-teaching, transport and ancillary staff for their unwavering support and service towards the institution. In the opening few sentences of his address, Fr Charles first expressed his gratitude to all staff members and then addressed each section of the various wings of the staff members on a personal note.

Commencing with the office, transport, ancillary and support staff with whom he conversed in Kannada, Fr Charles reiterated on the importance of their presence in the institution showing much appreciation towards their selfless service in ensuring the overall well-being and safety of staff, and students especially in and around the school campus, while in transit in the school buses, etc.

Whilst thanking all educators for their choice of choosing to lead and groom the future generations, he stressed upon how, in the current AI-dependent generation, the need of the hour for all educators is to upskill themselves to not only educate, but to empower students into becoming a complete holistic and humanely responsible individual excelling not just in academics, but in social, spiritual and cultural ethics as well.

Later in the day, demo classes were in progress for the teachers. Along with Fr Charles, the demo classes were also being observed and evaluated by the Principal, Vice-Principal, Academic Co-ordinator and respective Subject Heads.
