DIWALI CELEBRATIONS (17.10.2025)

As the sun settled for the day, the Trinity campus lit up with diyas and, a floral rangoli was in full bloom as students made their way to celebrate the festival of lights, i.e. Diwali.

After having formally introducing and welcoming the dignitaries of the day, by Ms Shresta, Ms Pearl, Master Shreyank, Ms Aarushi and Ms Nishka, the programme commenced with a prayer sung mellifluously by the students of Grade 4. Being the festival of lights, the pious occasion was inaugurated in a uniquely envisioned grand procession. Holding colourful hand-painted diyas, the entourage was led by the SPL Master Ryan D’souza, ASPL Ms Ifra, and an entourage of glittery celebrants followed by the the Vice Principal Rev Fr Amar Lobo, Academic Co-ordinator Ms Magdalena Lewis, Primary Section Head Dr Poornima Devadiga, Pre-Primary Section Head Ms Renita Monteiro, Section In charge-Teachers Ms Archana and Ms Shruthi, with Ms Savitha Nagesh Ms Gloria and Mr Ramachandra, representing the non-teaching staff. The dignitaries and students lit diyas, to mark the inauguration; after which the portals of the Trinitorium glistened as the faculty and staff lit diyas, encapsulating the aura of the occasion.

A cutely graceful and entertaining dance performance by the students of Pre-KG added to the gleeful charm. The importance of the occasion was elucidated with crisp expressions, and finesse by the students of Grades It was a musical fiesta with the back-to-back performances of song and dance performed by the students of Grade 4. The Vice Principal Fr Amar Lobo, expressed on how the festival of Diwali is synonymous with the victorious expulsion of darkness, evil and strife - bringing joy, happiness and unity among all. In a world, that has forgotten how to love, Diwali reminds us that it is in being kind, humble and empathetic that we can overcome the visible and invisible forces of darkness. The Principal extended his good wishes and blessings to all.

The programme came to a close with the vote of thanks expressed by Ms Brielle. Ms Fathima Shiham, Ms Rajvi, Ms Kaylin, Master Amsten and Master Akash co-compered the event alongside their friends.
