OFFICIAL VISIT OF PROVINCIAL - REV FR ROBIN VICTOR DSOUZA (24.11.2025)
With hearts full of cheer, the Trinity
family extended a cordial welcome to Rev Fr Robin Victor
Dsouza, the newly appointed Provincial and President of
CEB, on his first official visit, after assuming office.
Rev Fr Robin Dsouza was welcomed at the threshold of the
institution by the Principal, Rev Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo
Vice Principal and Administrator Rev Fr Amar Lobo, Rev
Fr Manohar Dsouza, Guardian of Trinity Vihar and Ms
Magdalena Lewis, the Academic Co-ordinator. To the
rhythmic beats of the School Band, the entourage was
skilfully led by the SPL Master Ryan Dsouza and ASPL Ms
Ifra Taj into the portals of the Trinitorium.
After taking their seats on the dais, Ms Smitha Amanna
commenced with a brief introduction and welcome; after
which, the young minds of UKG 'A' took over the stage
for the rest of the programme, with Ms Keva, and Master
Stephen starting off by calling all Trinitarians to
prayer, after their introduction.
After the prayer, Master Prathik conveyed the pledge, Ms
Himanshi recited the preamble and Ms Jesline shared the
'Thought for the Day', which was, 'Every day may not be
perfect; but let us always try to find something good in
each day'.
Following on, the assembly activity took a short hiatus
as Trinitarians were eager to hear from the Provincial.
After taking his honorary seat, Ms Shruthi Dsouza,
In-charge Teacher of the Middle High School, read the
credentials of Fr Robin which was then followed by the
felicitation by the dignitaries on the dais.
Fr Robin expressed elation at the progress of the
institution, and congratulated the students and staff
for their various achievements. In his speech, he
iterated the importance of respect - towards elders,
teachers, parents and society for without respect, our
lives have no perspective. Further, he stressed on the
3D's - Discipline, Dedication and Determination - each
of these virtues co-complement each other to build a
meaningful and fulfilling life.
Thereafter, Miss Aavishka, Master Dylan, Master Nabeel
and Ms Aisha shared some interesting facts. And then,
with narration by Ms Amairah, the jungles came alive
with energetic performances from Master Flavin, Master
Ruthvik, Ms Aarvi, Master Daksh, Master Gavin and Master
Atharva, with a meaningful skit, whose moral was
conveyed by Ms Mridvika, stating that 'to do good, to
help anyone or to become someone's friend- 'size does
not matter'.'
The class assembly was co-anchored by Master Shahaz, Ms
Himani, Ms Joyline, Master Drish, Master Rion, Master
Clenson, Master Aiden, Master Sheldon.
Ms Talia Fernandes, the class teacher expressed her
thoughts on the topic, conveying that - 'in life, there
will be ups and downs but, we need to remain hopefully
positive for a better outcome.
After being invited to speak by Ms Avani, the Principal
Rev Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo shared his happiness, and
thanked Fr Robin for his dedicated support as a
formidable beacon, that has led Trinity to achieve the
status of becoming 'one of the much sought-after'
educational institutions in the Udupi District.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by
Smitha Ma'am, followed by the rendition of the School
Anthem.
