Parent’s Sports Day 2022-23
In the dust of defeat as well as the laurels of victory there is a glory to be found if one has done its best.

Trinity Central School has proved its standards over the years and has been soaring high, touching lives. The credit goes to the wonderful parents who have entrusted their children to us. The school has been a motivating force in helping all bring out their talents in every field. To encourage our parents and guardians to display their sporting spirit, the parent’s sports day was organized on, 19-11-2022.

Mr Gangadhar G Kadekar, a world record swimmer was the chief guest of the program. The PTA President Mr Krishnan Shridharan and Secretary Ms Priya Furtado were also present.

The members of the PTA and the chief guest were escorted by the Principal Rev. Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo, Vice Principal Rev. Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao and Academic Co-ordinator Ms Magdalina Lewis to the beats of the school band.

The teachers lead the prayer and invoked the Lord’s blessings. Ms Steffi Saldanha welcomed the gathering.

With an unspoken co-ordination the parents marched to the drumbeat rolls as they spectacularly performed the march past.

The PTA members lit the sport torch and handed it over to the chief guest as a symbol of peace, friendship, tolerance and hope.

The chief guest inaugurated the Parent’s Sports Day 2022-23 by cutting the ribbon and declared the sports meet open.

The chief guest Mr Gangadhar G Kadekar addressed the gathering and appreciated Trinity Central School for taking the initiative in organizing the Sports Day for the parents. He encouraged the parents to inculcate sporting spirit and motivated them to make use of the wonderful opportunity they have received. He stressed on the importance of swimming in one’s life as it predominantly helps in improving our health.

The Principal also spoke on the occasion.

After the formal program the parents moved to the ground for various track and field events. Various fun games were also organized for the parents. The parents portrayed wonderful sporting spirit. They felt nostalgic to their childhood memories and experienced a stress free atmosphere from their busy work schedule.

A valedictory program was arranged in the evening. The PTA President Mr. Krishna Shridharan was the chief guest of the program. The prize distribution was done by the dignitaries for the winners.

It was indeed a fulfilled day for the parents as they enjoyed various events and spent a spectacular time in the portals of Trinity. They thanked the management for the wonderful initiative.

Ms Pallavi Santhosh hosted the program and Ms. Sushma Suvarna delivered the vote of thanks.

The program ended with the National Anthem.
