Annual Parent Teacher Association PTA Meet
The Annual Parent Teacher Association PTA Meet was organized
on 1st June, 2019 at the Trinity Campus at 2.30pm. Rev. Fr.
Paul Melwyn D’Souza the Vicar Provincial of Holy Trinity
Capuchin Province Karnataka was invited, as the Chief Guest
for this prestigious programme.
The annual PTA meet commenced with the invocation of prayer,
as our teachers sang the hymn “Showers of Blessings”. The
auspicious ceremony of the “lighting of the lamp”, was
followed after the prayer song. The beautiful diyas were lit
by our gracious dignitaries viz Fr. Paul Melwyn Chief Guest,
Fr. Anil the Principal, Fr. Ravi Rajesh our Administrator
along with Mrs. Magdelina Lewis our Academic Co-ordinator,
Mrs. Archana Shetty, Pre-Primary Section Head, and Ms.
Chandini, Secretary of the PTA.
Ms Keerthi, welcomed the gathering, and introduced the Chief
Guest to all. At the outset, Fr. Paul conveyed his greetings
to the school management on securing 100% result, for the
fifth consecutive year. In his address he conveyed the
necessity of being punctual and disciplined in the matters
of education. He stressed on the pertinent issue of how our
children, are always under stress, because of the academic
pressure to score high marks. He emphasized on the need to
create a stable conducively encouraging environment, where a
child can think and work independently. He also stressed
that, there is a need to teach and imbibe core values, which
they will learn and effectively put into practice.
Thereafter, Ms Archana, introduces the Trinity Family, to
the august gathering. The principal’s address was followed,
in which he reiterated and stressed upon the values of
discipline, belongingness, familial values, etc. He also
laid out a few of the important rules and regulations with
regard to education, fees payment, extra-curricular
activities, etc.
After which, the formation of new PTA took place. Six new
parents joined the Trinity PTA family. In order to
facilitate regarding the bus routes to parents Ms Laveena,
read out the bus numbers and their various bus routes. The
evening programme came to be a close, after the rendition of
the National Anthem.
The evening programme was compered by Ms Jeslin.
Refreshments and snacks were served to all.
