TRINITY CENTRAL SCHOOL - ALUMNI MEET (RECONNECT ’22)
The 2nd Alumni meet of Trinity Central School was held on
Tuesday, 22nd March 2022 at the school Trinitorium at 2.30
p.m. Invoking the presence of the Almighty, the programme
commenced with the melody of ‘As a deer pangs for water’ led
by the teachers.
The customary lighting of the lamp is a beautiful custom
that lives by the old adage ‘Light dispels darkness’. The
premises of the school trinitorium was further brightened as
the map was lit by Principal Rev, Fr. Anil D’Costa along
with Primary Section In-charge Rev.Fr Lenson Lobo, Academic
Coordinator Ms Magdalena Lewis, High School Coordinator Ms
Jayanthi, Academic Coordinator Ms Poornima along with alumna
Ms Chythra.
Ms Sunitha, Animator of the Alumni Association welcomed the
gathering. Alumnus Mr Harshith read out the minutes of the
1st Alumni Meet which had been held in 2018.
A video presentation of memories was presented.
Principal Fr. Anil D’Costa addressed the gathering and
conveyed that he was extremely elated with the presence of
good number of alumni for the afternoon’s programme. Fr.
Anil outlined the importance and objectives of an Alumni
Association in the school. The alumni association was
re-named as Trinity Alumni Association (TAA). The main
objectives, membership fees, communication channels,
activities, etc were discussed.
The election of members of the Core Executive Committee was
conducted. After much discussion and deliberation, the
following alumni were elected:
President: Ms Deeksha
Vice-president: Mr Clinton
Secretary: Ms Chythra
Joint Secretary: Mr Zain
Treasurer: Mr Selvin
The newly elected members were invited to take the dais, and
received a round of applause on their appointment.
Membership fees of Rs 300/- per member was agreed upon.
Further, it was decided that the alumni would meet twice or
thrice in an academic year, and the executive committee
would meet once in two to three months. The date of the next
meeting was decided for sometime in the 2nd or 3rd week of
August on a Saturday.
As the newly elected President of TAA , Ms Deeksha shared
her experiences of being a Trinitarian. She conveyed her
gratitude to the principal, and all teachers for moulding
her into the successful person that she is today. Former
students Mr Fawaz and Ms Jaitha also shared their wonderful
experiences of being a Trinitarian.
The programme was compered by Ms Jesslin Preetha. The 2nd
Alumni meet was a grand success.
