Teacher’s Day Celebrations at Trinity Central School
“Good teachers are the reason why ordinary students
dream to do extraordinary things”
The above words hold very true of the teachers of Trinity
Central School, Perampalli. And the love and dedication of
teachers was beautifully acknowledged on the occasion of
Teacher’s Day on September 5th, 2019.
The day long celebrations began with the celebration of
Eucharist and novena to Mother Mary. This was followed by a
short programme by the PTA members. On the dais were the
Principal, Fr. Anil D’costa, Fr. Ravi Rajesh the School
Administrator, Academic Co-ordinator Mrs. Magdelina Lewis,
Mrs. Archana Shetty the Pre-Primary Section Head, and Mr. K
Sreedharan and Mrs. Chandini the President and Secretary of
the PTA respectively.
The dignitaries on the dais first showered flowers on the
portrait of Dr. S Radhakrishnan, and Mr. Sreedharan spoke of
the importance of the day. This was followed by the cutting
of the cake.
In recognition of their dedication and commitment in
imparting education to students by teachers, PTA members
gifted all teaching, non-teaching and auxiliary staff, with
rose-bud plants, and gifts, as a token of their love and
affection.
There after the PTA members and school faculty felicitated
Mr. Bhaskar Bhat the man behind the delicious hot meals
served to all at school every day.
The morning programme came to an end with PTA members
distributing cake to all students and staff.
A school is incomplete without its greatest assets – its
students. The students in appreciation for their teachers’
efforts presented a fun–filled programme in the afternoon.
The programme commenced with the students welcoming their
teachers to the beats of the Band, followed with the
showering of flowers and gifting a rose to every teacher, as
they walked into the Trinitorium.
This was followed by a prayer song. Ms. Melanie of Grade 10
presented a meaningful and inspiring speech on the
importance and relevance of teacher’s Day.
This was followed by the cutting of the cake, discovering
the “Explosion Box”, and a few games, which was thoroughly
enjoyed by all. The students of Grade 9 & 10 put up peppy
and fun-filled dance performances. Students also gifted the
teachers’, a memento as a token of the affection and
appreciation.
Overall, though the rains played spoilsport, once a while,
it failed to dampen the spirits and enthusiasm of the
Trinity family. It was an indeed a fun, momentous and
beautiful celebration, of teachers Day.
