Children's Fest in Trinity Central School
It was a very auspicious day in Trinity Central School on 11th November 2010
as the Trinity Central School celebrated the Mega Event 'Children's Fest'
with grandeur. The celebration began in the morning at 10 a.m. with the
prayer dance "Vandan vandan" followed by the welcoming of the guests and the
gathering by Fr. Richie. The programme was solemnly inaugurated by the chief
guests of the day, Fr. Chetan, Fr. Cyprian, Fr. Freddie and others by
hoisting the flag and bursting crackers and the Newly composed Trinity
Anthem was sung for the first time by everyone. The entire ground was
looking beautiful and colourful by the helium balloons flying everywhere.
There was March-fast, Exercises, Ribbon drill show from the Trinity Central
School children as the people and the guests were surprised to see the
talents of the children. The chief-guest of the event, Fr. Chetan spoke a
few words on this beautiful occasion. He said, "Allow the children to do
whatsoever they like to do and do not restrict the them because that is the
base for their development." All the guests were honoured by giving the
beautiful roses. After honoring all the guests of the day, it was the time
for Carol Singing Competition. The children from nearly 8 to 9 schools were
eagerly waiting to perform their best in the competition as it went on till
1 p.m. Though it was the first experience for some children, they performed
very well. At the same time Drawing Competition was also held for all the
children in the class rooms. Soon after the Carol Competition, the result of
the competition was pronounced by Mrs. Maggie, the MC of the day. The
winners came running towards the stage as they were filled with joy. After
the Carol Competition, there was sumptuous meal served for every one and a
little pause was given to the stage programme. In the after noon at 2 p.m.
the stage programme was resumed. Now it was the time for Trinity Central
School children to perform their best in the Dance Competition. There were
also group dances from the School Children trained by the 'Step on Dance
Group'. Even some children from other school also showed their talents by
dancing on the stage. After that, a ice-breaking game was conducted to all
the people. The were many stalls and attractive games for the childrenin the
school campus. The people were enjoying the stage programme and at the same
time relishing the ice cream, snacks and having an entertainment in the
games counters by playing car race, ring the bottle, feeding the monster
etc. And finally, all the results of the competitions were announced and the
prizes were promised to give on the Annual Day which will be on January 26.
Then, at the end it was the term of Principal of the School, Fr. Richie to
occupy the stage as he thanked God for making this day a great success and
also thanked God for the good weather. Then, he thanked each and every one
who made this day a memorable one specially Fr. Dancy, Br. Jacob, Fr.
Freddie, teachers, brothers from Moodubelle, parents, parish priest,
sponsers and all the guests. And at last the Children's Fest was ended by
Crackers Show. The people carried the sweet memories of the day as they went
back.
