Hurrah! It’s a beautiful day, it’s a fun filled day, for
it’s our Annual day.
The Trinity Central School celebrated its 8th Annual day on
16th December, 2017 in school premises. It was presided over
by Rev. Dr. Salvadore Fernandes, Rector, Darshan College,
Banglore and the chief guest was Dr. Sukanya Martis,
Principal, Sri Poornaprajna Evening College, Udupi.
The guests were escorted to the programme and on the dais
with the school band at 4.30pm. The programme commenced in a
traditional way with the lighting of Lantern by the
honorable dignitaries, that marked the Annual day theme-
“Village Culture”. The Welcome dance presented by the
students brought a traditional look and the formal welcome
address lead by the customary welcoming brought priceless
charm in the faces of dignitaries and the audience and made
them feel at home. The stage programme included the price
distribution where the honorable president Rev. Dr.
Salvadore Fernandes gave away the prizes to the academically
meritorious pupils of the School. The academic co-ordinator
Mrs.Magdelina Lewis presented the Annual report of the year
2017-18 which was effectively displayed on the LCD screen
which made easy and interesting to hear. The Chief Guest
Dr.Sukanya Martis appreciated the choice of theme,
compassion of the Trinity family. The President, Rev. Dr.
Salvadore Fernandes congratulated the school for taking keen
interest in the overall development of the pupils and also
for achieving 100% results in the ICSE board exams from 3
consecutive years. He inspired everyone on the theme
“Education for Character building”.
The stage programme was concluded with the words of
gratitude where in the dignitaries were gifted the beautiful
painting done by our artistic students, as mementos that
made the guests feel really honored. The colorful and
dazzling evening continued to be so, through various
fantastic dance performance, from each class students, the
mime show depicting the village life and life in the city
and a drama giving a message to make a difference, to bring
heaven on earth was well appreciated. The fusion dance lead
by the theme that depicted “Village Culture” was the
attractive conclusion, like icing on the cream, the
celebration which made the audience to have a throw back of
their childhood days.
The newly constructed main entrance to the school was
inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Salvadore Fernandes and Dr. Sukanya
Martis. As it was Annual Day, the inauguration added more
colour to the occasion of Annual Day celebration.
The day was really a memorable and a cherishable one with so
much fun entertainment coupled with beautiful messages to
build our life in the society.
