“The Red Letter Day”
Trinity celebrated its 4th Annual Day on 1st of February. It was the day
of thrill, enjoyment, fun and the day, on which all our guests and parents
were to witness our students perform and exhibit their items like class wise
dances, a musical band perform, an English drama, an opera all and all
performed under the theme “Nurture the Nature for the future”.
Our guests were Rev. Fr. Dolphy Pais (Provincial Holy Trinity Province,
Karnataka), Rev. Fr. Alwyn Dias (Executive Secretary, Capuchin Education
Board), Rev. Fr. Romeo Lewis (Parish Priest Fathima Church, Perampalli), Mr.
Jayaprakash Hegde (Member of Parliament), Mr. Vinay Kumar Sorake (Minister
of Urban Development), Mr. Pramod Madhvaraj (MLA Udupi), Mr. Vidyavantha
Acharya U (Principal, Sharada Residential School), Dr. Pushpa Kini
(Professor and Head of Pediatrics KMC, Manipal and Mrs. Prathibha Braggs
(President, PTA).
During the stage programme we had the blessing of the foundation stone for
the new building. We also had the release of our 1st School Magazine
“Trinity Tinklets”. The first step towards reaching our various higher
goals. The Annual School Report was presented by Ms. Sandra Onslow and Vote
of thanks was proposed by Ms. Seema.
To add to the joy! Students were awarded the merit award or proficiency
awards. The Sports Championship awards were given away to Noysil of IX for
boys & Elrica of VIII for girls.
The student with best civic sense was also awarded on this day to Dhanush
Kamath of VIII for his responsible support rendered throughout the year.
Mr. Pramod Madhvaraj, Mr. Vidyavantha Acharya, Mrs. Pushpa Kini, Mrs.
Prathibha Braggs spoke on the occasion.
The climax of the show was done by announcing the house championship which
went to Blue house ‘i.e.’ William Shakespeare.
The principal finally thanked everyone present and made a few, but important
announcements for the months to come and even for the next academic year as
well.
All left to their homes very happy and contented.
