Chef day at Trinity Central School
As rightly said by Julia Child “ No one is born a great cook, one learns by doing”. What more, we at Trinity Central school conducted Chef’s day for kindergarten children on Sept 16th 2022 in the campus where children played the role of Junior Chefs along with the teachers. The entire campus was filled with enthusiasm as tiny tots clad themselves with aprons and chef caps, ready to learn to cook.

Food is the ingredient that binds us together. True to that, all the trinitarians including the Principal Rev. Fr. Sunil Dominic Lobo, vice-prinicpal Rev. Fr. Ravi Rajesh Serrao, academic co-ordinator Ms. Magdelina Lewis, teachers, support staff and students put their hands together to participate in unity to make the best of the Chef’s day.

The children who turned into little chefs worked with much enthusiasm and followed the directions from the teachers to make yummy sandwiches, fruit salad, chocolate milk shakes and vita balls. Children felt a sense of accomplishment by enjoying the food they cooked themselves.

“Let’s cook, let’s eat and let’s celebrate” was the slogan of the event. Children were educated on the importance of eating healthy food and the impact of eating junk food. They were also given an understanding of the importance of food and why they should be thankful to the food they get to eat everyday. Overall it was a yummy day.
