Children's Fest
Trinity Central School here celebrated "Children’s Fest - 2012" at Trinity campus on Saturday, 15th December. Prior to the celebration, Guests of Honour were accorded a guard of honour with the school band leading to dais. Rev Fr. Vincent Furtado Capuchin, Provincial of CPM Bangalore blessed the newly build stage of the school. Entrepreneur Pramod Madwaraj of Malpe inaugurated the school stage.

Very Rev Fr. Vincent Furtado presided the occasion. Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca former Principal of Milagres College and Parish Priest of Barkur Church as well as newly appointed Chancelor of Udupi Diocese, Pramod Madwaraj, Retd. Prof Hilda Rodrigues of Milagres College, Ramesh Nayak local Councillor of CMC Udupi, Rev Fr. J.B. Sequiera Director of Trinity Institutions of Parampally as well as newly appointed Episcopal Vicar of Religious for Diocese of Udupi and Rev Fr. Richard Quadros Principal of Trinity Schools were present on the dais.

Fr. Valerian Mendonca, Pramod Madwaraj and Prof Hilda Rodrigues spoke during the occasion. Fr. Vincent Furtado gave presiding address. Fr. Valerian and Prof Hilda Rodrigues declared opened the Children’s Fest-2012.

Earlier Fr. Richard Quadros welcomed the gatherings and Sandra D’Souza proposed vote of thanks. Archana compered the programme. Carol Singing competitions to various schools were held during the occasion. Madhavkripa School Manipal won first place in junior level carol singing while St. Cecili’s School Udupi won second place, Christ King School, Manipal won third place. Meanwhile St. Mary’s won first place in senior level while Madhavkripa School won second place and and St.Cecili’s School,Udupi won the third prize. Fr. Vincent Furtado distributed the prizes for the winners.
