Ms Anusha Bhat, Range Forest Officer, Social Forestry Range,
Udupi was the chief guest on this special occasion.
The entire ambience depicted wild life and nature. The
Trinitorium was decked up with replicas of different
animals.
The chief guest was accorded a conjuntos escort by the SPL

The program began with a prayer song thanking and praising
God Almighty for all the bright and beautiful creatures
granted to us.
The chief guest and all the dignitaries on the dais
inaugurated the program by planting the plants in a
creatively made swan pond which was created using recycled
plastic bottles.
The chief guest Ms Anusha Bhat was felicitated by al the
dignataries on the dais for her commendable service after
which she addressed the gathering. In her address she
appreciated the school for all the efforts in showing love
towards the nature and wild life. She mainly emphasized the
role of students in preserving the forest and wildlife. She
said it is the duty of every citizen to safeguard our
nature, forest and wild life.
The Principal Rev. Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo also addressed the
gathering. He thanked all the parents for being present in
large numbers and giving the school an enthusiastic support.
The formal program concluded with the National Anthem.
The festivity lasted for the entire day. The parents,
students and their relatives could satiate their appetite
through different food, juice and snack stalls that were put
up by the teachers. Different gaming stalls were also set
where the parents and students could try their skill and
luck. Meanwhile, our students portrayed wonderful talents
through various performances like dances, songs and standup
comedy.
The students of different activity classes like dance,
western music, drama, drums, skating, karate and Taekwondo
performed their acts in front of the audiences.
A lucky person was picked among the audiences every hour and
was given a prize. There was series draw where the parents
and students won prizes.
A fancy dress competition on the theme ‘Enchanting Safari’
was organized for the students of kindergarten. The students
displayed spectacular disguises of wildlife and nature. Over
100 participants of nursery, LKG and UKG showcased their
costumes clad as different animals found in the jungle. The
little tots came dressed as tiger, giraffe, zebra, spider,
tribal man, dinosaur, porcupine, fish, butterfly, ladybug
and in many more spectacular costumes. Many were also
dressed as trees, mother earth with slogans ‘save forest’,
‘save trees’, and ‘save nature’.
The event was judged by theatre artists Rohith S Baikady,
Bhuvan Manipal and Karthik Prabhu who were mesmerized with
the performance of the little ones.
The children were awarded based on their performance and
costumes after the event.
It was indeed a fun filled day to all the students, parents
and also the members of the staff. There was a valedictory
function in the evening which was preceded with the
traditional Housie Housie game. The jackpot of the evening,
the raffle ticket draw for the ‘bicycle’ was done at this

that five consolation prizes were also given among the
raffle tickets.
