Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration at Trinity Central School, Perampalli

October 2nd is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanthi all over India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karam chand Gandhi, renowned as the Father of our Nation.

Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at Trinity Central School, to commemorate the birthday of Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi, popularly known as Mahatma Gandhi or �Bapu�. The School through various activities remembered this greatest motivator and independence campaigner. The day began with the singing of his most preferred devotional song, �Raghupathi Raghav Raja Ram� by the cubs, bull bulls, scouts and guides. Students lighted the lamp and inaugurated the program. To revere this day, the scouts and the guides, along with the teachers lead an all faith prayer. The teachers showered flowers to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi as a mark of respect. A few of the parents and students were present for the program. Jnanesh of grade 10 lead the entire program. Ms Archana Shetty thanked all the students and their parents. All our students were imbued with Gandhian values and thoughts.
