‘Azadi Ka Amrith Mahotsav’, ‘Har Ghar Thiranga’
‘Let there be freedom in your mind and body, faith in your
wards and pride in your soul. Let us salute our nation'
The flying colours of freedom and joy hoisted very high at
Trinity Central School on 15th August 2022 on the occasion
of the 75th Independence Day as the Trinity Family devoted a
tribute to the ancestors who conquered the fort of freedom.
While the whole nation echoed slogans of ‘Azadi Ka Amrith
Mahotsav’, ‘Har Ghar Thiranga’ the Trinity Fraternity also
joined in to enunciate the 75th Independence Day to uphold
the sacrifices and hardships that donned the freedom
struggle of our ancestors.
‘When you talk about heroes, you just talk about the jawans
who are standing at the border of the nation’. Lance Naik
Krishnappa Shettybettu a brave jawan of Udupi and a former
warrior who served the Indian army for 17 years and gave his
fruitful service was the chief guest of the occasion.
To the beats of the marching band, the Principal Rev. Fr.
Dominic Sunil Lobo escorted the chief guest Lance Naik
Krishnappa Shettybettu and other dignitaries to the dais.
The Lord's blessing was invoked by the melodious voices of
the students of Grade 9.
Arham of Grade 8 welcomed the gathering.
With pious devotion the national flag was hoisted by the
chief guest. The National anthem, Flag song and Vande
Matharam was sung in a beautiful chorus.
A march past is the symbolic upholding of discipline and
self dignity. With the SPL, taking the lead, the ASPL, Cubs,
Scouts, Guides and all the four squadron of Rivo Torto,
Greccio, La Verna and Spoleto marched with respect and
prestige. Our Trinity soldiers made their way upholding the
regimen with respect and prestige.
The great son of Mother India, our respected guest, Lance
Krishnappa Shettybettu shared his experience and emotions on
the occasion. A video presentation about his life was shown.
A cultural tribute to our army, our nation and to all our
leaders, freedom fighters was performed by the students of
Grade 1-9. The students of different grades displayed
different forms of dances, dumbbell drill, fancy dress and
singing.
Our sentiments, our respect and our pride was shared in the
form of words by Kreezma of Grade 4, Gagan of Grade 7 and
Prekshitha of Grade 9 in English, Kannada and Hindi
respectively.
Inspired and motivated words of wisdom were given to the
gathering by our beloved Principal Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil
Lobo.
Dhathri of Grade 7 thanked all for their efforts and
presence in making this event a successful one. Prthvi and
Prakyath of grade 8 hosted the program. The 75th
Independence day was celebrated with passion, patriotism and
grandeur.
