International Yoga Day @ Trinity Central School
"Yoga is like music, the rhythm of the body, the melody
of the mind and the harmony of the soul that creates the
symphony of life"
The International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 22, 2022.
Master Aaryan from grade 10 hosted the program which lasted
for an hour. The Lord's prayer was Sung by the students of
Grade 9 and Grade 10 for an enthusiastic start.
The presence of the Principal Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo,
Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Ravi Rajesh Serrao, Mr. Krishna
Shridharan, former PTA president and the members from
Patanjali Yoga Samithi: Miss. Anitha. N, Miss. Latha Hebsoor,
Miss. Shashi Prabha, Ms. Shyamala and Ms. Sandhya made the
day more meaningful.
Dignitaries were welcomed florally by Miss. Clemitha of
Grade 10
As light is the symbol of brightness and prosperity,
dignitaries on the dais lighted the lamp.
Further the importance of the day was articulated by Miss.
Prekshitha of Grade 9 through a speech in which the uses,
the functions and the results of practicing yoga were
highlighted.
As a sign of gratitude, Principal Rev Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo
presented a memento to all the dignitaries, on the dais.
Few asanas which were learnt during the prior session done
by Miss. Anitha. N, were conducted for an hour.
With heads held high the curtain was drawn to the Yoga Day
as everyone joined the chorus in singing the National
Anthem.
