LEARN AND EXPERIENCE WITH FUN FILLED EDUCATIONAL TRIPS FOR
KINDER GARTEN 2018 -19
NURSERY AND UKG – 1ST OCTOBER 2018
We at Trinity Central School believe that children learn for
life; especially understanding the lessons outside from the
normal classroom environment helps in learning better.
To give them a real life exposure the children of Nursery
and UKG went on an educational tour to the Post Office,
Police Station and the Railway station to understand how
different people and professions help us in our day to day
life. Children were explained the role of a postman and a
policeman and their contribution to the society.
They were also able to learn new vocabulary like ‘postman’,
‘postmaster’, ‘stamp’, ‘parcels’ and above all the ‘post
box’ that carries letters.
Later the students visited the police station located at
Manipal. The police officers welcomed the little children
and showed them the guns, rifles, pistols and walkie talkie.
They also showed the lock up and the cell where the
criminals are kept. The police team they clicked pictures
with our children and teaching staff and distributed
chocolates and the children were very happy.
Next, we proceeded towards railway station at Udupi.
Students had snacks and spent little time at the railway
station. They were happy to see a puffer train. Thereafter
the little children were taken to the ‘Salumarada Thimmakka
Park’. Where children had their lunch and played till they
packed their bags and moved back to school. It was a very
enjoyable day out for all the tiny tots.
EDUCATIONAL TRIP FOR LKG
An exciting day out with the little ones of LKG for an
educational trip was arranged to the Manipal Police Station,
Post Office, Salumarada Thimmakka Park and Kalmadi Church.
Students were first taken to the Manipal Police Station.
They were received with warm welcome by the Police officials
and explained about the various activities held in the
Police station. They also demonstrated about the use of
walkie talkie and explained about the different rifles and
their uses and showed them prison cell where culprits are
kept. The police officials then distributed chocolates to
all the students present there.
Later the teachers and the students moved to the post
office, where the staff showed different stamps and
explained the duties followed in the post office. Thereafter
the children were taken to Salumarada Thimmakka Park, where
children enjoyed playing fun loving and unique games. After
having lunch, they moved to Kalmadi Church, where they
played and observed beautiful architecture.
They really enjoyed the day out with their friends and
teachers.
