were filled with anxious, but confident voices. And it was a
busy afternoon with triplet functions.
PTA GATHERING
The afternoon proceedings commenced with the invocation of
God’s blessings through a melodious song sung by our
teachers. This was followed by the PTA meet. Dr. Shruthi T
Mayur, an eminent Professor of TAPMI, Manipal was the
resource person of the programme. Accompanying Dr. Shruthi,
on the dais were the strong pillars of Trinity Central
School Fr. Claud Mascarenhas, Guardian of Trinity Vihar, who
was also the President of the function and Fr. Anil D’Costa,
the Principal. Fr. Ravi Rajesh our Administrator, Mrs.
Magdelina Lewis, the Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Archana
Shetty, the Pre-Primary Section Head and PTA Secretary Mrs.
Chandini were also present on the stage.
Dr. Shruthi in her address spoke on certain important
aspects in the development of a child and his/her relation
with parents i.e.
i) Freedom of thought, ideas and feelings.
ii) Maintaining a good, cordial relation of child with
parent.
iii) Spending ample and productive time with the child.
Principal Fr. Anil D’Costa too addressed the PTA gathering,
while Ms. Preetha Cardoza compered the programme.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP
“Donate blood, donate life.” A universal motto and call
for all who can donate blood to those in need. A blood
donation camp was organized at the Mother Teresa Hall of the
school. The camp was organized in association with the
Indian Red Cross Society Blood Bank, Kundapur.
Mr. Jayakar Shetty, the Chairman of IRCS conveyed the
importance of blood donation and the various criteria
involved in order to donate blood.
Several enthusiastic parents, PTA members and members of the
teaching staff contributed towards the good cause. In all a
total of 58 units of blood was collected.
ART AND CRAFT EXHIBITION AND RESULT DAY
There are many engineers and doctors but very few
artists in the world. However, colour and creativity came
alive at the Art and Craft Exhibition held at the
Trinitorium.
The creative aesthetic and artistic talents of the students
were beautifully exhibited and were also appreciated.
Parent’s also proceeded to view the term results of their
children. Snacks and refreshments were served to all.
