PTA GATHERING – 2022-23
“Education is a shared commitment between dedicated
teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents.” –

After two long years the first PTA gathering of the academic
year 2022-23 was held on the 28th of May 2022.
The Principal Rev. Fr Anil Dcosta, Vice Principal Ravi
Rajesh Serrao, Primary incharge Rev. Fr Lenson Lobo,
Academic co-ordinator Ms Magdelina Lewis and PTA secretary
Mrs. Chandini Niranjan were present on the dias.
The program began with a beautiful prayer song, “Oh Lord
light of the world…” sung by the teachers followed by
lighting of the lamp symbolizing the light of the knowledge.
Ms Sushma welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao
introduced the teachers, support staff and transport crew to
the parents and appreciated their untiring service to the
school.
The Principal Rev. Fr Anil Dcosta and the academic
co-ordinator Ms Magdalina Lewis briefed about the academics.
The routes of the different busses plying from different
areas were briefed by Ms Shifali. For the academic year
2022-23 a new bus has been added to the current fleet of 17
buses in order to offer safe and convenient travel o the
students.
The principal Rev. Fr Anil Dcosta formed the PTA committee
and chose the new parent teacher association members.
During the program Rev. Fr Anil Dcosta , the guiding
shepherd of Trinity Central School, for the past 9 years
declared that he will step down as the Principal of the
school and will pass on the baton to Rev. Fr Sunil Dominic
Lobo. Rev. Fr Anil Dcosta welcomed Rev. Fr Sunil Lobo and
escorted him to the dais. Rev. Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao
welcomed Rev. Fr Sunil Lobo by honouring him with a shawl
and a bouquet of flowers.
Rev. Fr Sunil Dominic Lobo addressed the gathering and
assured his support towards the wholesome development of the
school and the students.
“Meeting and parting is a part of life. Learning from those
meetings and living with the lessons learnt from there is
the art of life.”
With sorrow deep in hearts the Trinity family wished two of
their mentors luck and success in the path of their future
endeavours.
Rev. Fr Lenson Lobo, who has been transferred to Brahmavar
was felicitated by the school management. Rev. Fr Lenson
Lobo was the in charge of pre-primary section for the past
year. He was a man full of enthusiasm, vigour and zeal and
was always seen on his toes leading from the front. He had
displayed zeal and passion not only in his teaching ability
but also his persistent efforts in every activity of the
school was unimaginable. Rev. Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao escorted
Fr Rev. Fr Lenson Lobo to the seat of honour and Ms. Sharon
Dsouza read out the citation. All the dignitaries on the
dais felicitated Rev. Fr Lenson Lobo.
The guiding shepherd, the steering head and the driving
force of Trinity till now Rev. Fr Anil Dcosta is moving on
to shoulder greater responsibilities. He was a great
principal, an unparallel mentor, an enthusiastic teacher,
educationist and a great visionary. He had played all these
roles with utmost perfection. The Trinity family is ever
grateful for all the developments and for his efforts in
uplifting the organization.
Rev. Fr Sunil Lobo escorted Rev. Fr Anil Dcosta to the seat
of honour and Ms. Preetha Furtado read out the citation. The
dignitaries on the dais felicitated Rev. Fr Anil Dcosta. All
the parents present in the gathering gave a standing ovation
as a mark of their respect and gratitude to the head of the
Trinity family.
Rev. Fr Anil Dcosta expressed his words of gratitude for the
admirable support from the teaching staff, non teaching
staff, support staff, parents and the students. He shared
his experience of 9 years in Trinity. He thanked each and
everyone and concluded by expressing his feelings through a
Kannada poem.
Ms. Mayuri Takhur delivered the vote of thanks. The entire
program was hosted by Ms. Keerthi Shetty. The program ended
with the national anthem. Snacks were served for all.
