We had the flag hoisting ceremony followed by March fast by students. The national flag was hoisted with great joy by the Chief Guest. The students saluted the flag and sang the National Anthem. Nikhil of Std VI highlighted the importance of Republic Day. The torch was lighted by Mrs.Latha Shetty and was placed burning as a symbol of sportsmanship. Sports meet was declared open by Rev.Fr.Richard Quadros. The program was compeered Mrs.Laveena. Later on many events were conducted on the new ground like Running race, shot-put, high jump and many more.

The food stalls were opened for children in order to re-energize themselves and beat the heat. The last game was throw-ball and without it Sports day was incomplete. In the noon, it was time to crown the winners of the Sports. All the four squads were eagerly waiting to know who stood first.
