Student Council Election @ Trinity Central School
True leaders understand that leadership is not about them,
but about those they serve. True leaders don’t create
followers, they create more leaders.
Leadership is all about persuasion, presentation and people
skills.
To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to
nurture them for their future when they become the
responsible citizens of our country, as well as to elect the
student representatives among themselves, the student’s
council election was held in the school on 22nd of June
2022.
Six contestants for the post of the School Pupil Leader (SPL)
and eight contestants for the post of Assistant School Pupil
Leader contested.
Prior to the election all the aspirants campaigned among
their classmates and schoolmates to cast their vote
respectively.
Four different ballet counters were set up for different
grades in order to maintain discipline and avoid confusion.
With great enthusiasm the students of grades 6 to 10 along
with their teachers casted their votes to elect their
representatives.
The counting of the votes was done on the same day in the
presence of the nominated members and teachers. Rev. Fr.
Ravi Rajesh Serrao, the Vice Principal announced the elected
SPL and ASPL.
Master Rayan Danny of Grade 10 was elected as the SPL with
164 votes while Miss Shifa Jethperwala was elected as the
ASPL with 104 votes.
The investiture ceremony for the school cabinet will be held
on the 28th of June 2022.
