“Give thanks with a grateful heart”
Thanksgiving for Academic year 2018-19.
As we have come to the end of the Academic year 2018-19,
it’s absolutely the ideal time for school as a family to
come together and thank God for all his blessings throughout
this Academic year 2018-19. It’s time to appreciate and
express feelings of gratitude to all the teachers, students,
parents, janitors and the transport staff for rendering
their selfless service throughout the year. The
‘Thanksgiving’ event was celebrated on 29th March 2019.
The dignitaries for the day were Rev.Fr. Claud Mascarenhas
(Correspondent and Superior of Trinity Vihar), Rev.Fr. Anil
D’Costa (Principal), Rev.Fr. Ravi Rajesh (Administrator) and
Ms. Magdelina Lewis the Academic Co-ordinator.
The programme commenced with a prayer song asking God’s
intervention and thanking him for his abundance grace
throughout the year. A welcome speech was delivered by
Braden from grade 6 who extended cordial welcome to all the
dignitaries, teachers, students and all the non-teaching
staff of Trinity.
After which students were awarded with certificates and
prizes for their achievements in various competitions such
as the Dictation, Olympiads and the phonetics. Besides this,
students were also awarded for the best Assembly Activity
and Best House for the Academic year 2018-19.
The first three places in ‘Best House’ category was bagged
by Spoleto , Greccio and Assisi respectively. The prizes
were awarded by our correspondent Rev.Fr. Claud Mascarenhas,
Rev.Fr. Anil D’Costa (Principal), Rev.Fr. Ravi Rajesh
(Administrator) and Ms. Magdelina Lewis.
It is the school cabinet which plays an important role in
the smooth functioning of the school. As we have come to the
culmination of Academic year, the leaders of Trinity handed
over their badges to the principal as a sign of completion
of their responsibilities and passed it over to the next
leaders.
The staff, students were also glad to celebrate the
anticipated birthday of our Principal Rev.Fr. Anil D’Costa,
who is the pillar of Trinity Central School. Rev.Fr. Anil is
a down to earth person, supportive and a great motivator to
students and staff. The entire Trinity family wished him a
blessed birthday and a bright year ahead.
It was also indeed a time to show our gratitude for the
charming persons around us who made all things easy and
systematic. It was a pleasure thanking the drivers,
conductors, office staff, security guards and the school
ancillary staff for their continuous support.
The management, staff and students of Trinity appreciated
their hard work by offering flowers to them. A special lunch
was given to the whole school and a Holy mass was organized
for all Christian children as a thanks giving celebration.
The programme came to an end with a group dance by all the
students and a delicious ice-cream was distributed to all
the students before departure.
Wishing one and all a lovely summer break.
