Teachers’ Day
A good teacher is like a candle, it consumes itself to light
the way for others. The teachers play an important role in
helping the students to become adults with knowledge and
wisdom. As a token of love and appreciation for the selfless
service and dedication of the teachers, the teachers’ day
was celebrated in the school with enthusiasm and vigour on
5th September, 2022.
A formal program was organized for the teachers. The SPL
Rayan Danny escorted the teachers to the program and the
dignitaries to the dais. The members of the Parent Teachers’
Association were also present at this juncture.

All the dignitaries on the dais ignited the lamp as a mark
of light being the guide to show a rightful path of
knowledge.

of appreciation for teachers of their children. A beautiful
cake was cut by the teachers to share the joy of teachers’

dais along with the members of the PTA offered a traditional
felicitation.

to the management and staff.

the teachers.
It is best and right to hear a few words coming up from a
teacher itself. Ms Leslia Soares shared her experiences in
her journey as a teacher. The principal Rev. Fr Dominic
Sunil Lobo also spoke a few words on this juncture. He
appreciated and thanked all the members of the staff for
their service and dedication to the school.
The SPL Rayan Danny spoke on the occasion and spoke about
the important role played by the teachers in his life.
The formal program concluded by the vote of thanks delivered
by ASPL Deepthi.
A cultural program was organized by the students to their
teachers in the afternoon. The students performed a dance to
portray the students’ life which made the teachers feel
nostalgic about their school days. A standup comedy in Tulu
language was presented by Rajath of grade 10. Students also
showcased their talents by performing dance, song and a
speech.
After the stage program various sports activities were
organized for the teachers. The teachers remembered their
childhood as they played games like dodge ball, tug of war,
ludo and carom. It was indeed a fun frolic day for all the
teachers. The teachers sincerely thanked and were grateful
