GRANDPARENTS' DAY 2026 - A CELEBRATION OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

There is a love that never measures time - it simply gives. Trinity Central School, Perampalli celebrated that love on 24th October with the celebration of Grandparents' Day.

The celebration was graced by the Chief Guest Dr. Virupaksha Devaramane, consultant psychiatrist, Dr. A.V. Baliga hospital Doddanagudde, Udupi, Principal Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo, Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Amar Antony Lobo, PTA Vice President Ms. Deepthi Suvarna, and Academic Co-ordinator Ms. Magdelina Lewis. The formal programme ably anchored by Ms. Namratha unfolded with prayer, followed by a graceful welcome dance by our students and a unique inauguration unveiling a beautiful house of togetherness, symbolized a home complete with grandparents, parents and children. The introduction of our Chief Guest was eloquently done by Ms. Preetha Furtado.

The cultural hues then took over, which was beautifully compered by Ms. Pallavi Santhosh. Our Pre-Primary stars mesmerized everyone with dance. Fun games filled the air with laughter, enthusiastically conducted by Mr. Merwin, Ms. Laveena D'Souza and Ms. Sushmitha Caroline from grandfathers joyfully participating in saree-draping competitions for grandmothers, to couple oriented games and singing together. Laughter echoed as the young-at-heart grandparents relived their youth.

The chord between generations grew stronger with the singing and storytelling competitions which saw the participation of grandparents and their grandchildren. The celebration concluded with prize distribution and gratitude. It was not just a celebration; it was a reminder that the roots of a family hold the sweetest strength.
