Thanksgiving prayer service and summer camp Day 1
SUMMER CAMP 2013 @ TCS……
The much awaited Summer camp began at Trinity Central School on 1st of
April, 2013. After the long cloudy weather of Final exams, children were
almost exhausted and this camp worked as an energy drink to boost up the
enthusiasm of the students.
The Inauguration of the camp was done by Fr.Richard Quadros along with the
Easter Egg which signifies new life and energy and the Cock which works
tirelessly without expecting any gain.
The Lighting of the lamp was done in a cultural way by the Camp co-ordinator
Mrs.Alvita along with Headmistress Mrs.Sandra and the School Pupil Leader
Master Abel and Master Ruthwik.
Four groups were formed and named as Pirates, Phoenix, Defenders and Rock
rollers headed by Br.Francis, Mrs.Poornima, Mrs.Zeena and Mrs.Vidya.
Different games were conducted group-wise like Treasure Hunt, Dog and the
Bone, Passing the ball overhead, filling the bottles with water in hand
etc…and the students grabbed points for their groups.
Delicious food was served at the camp premises. Refreshments were served in
the evening. Dance and action songs were taught.
Inter-groups Collage competition was held in the noon by making use of
flowers, leaves, shells, sand.
THANKSGIVING PRAYER SERVICE @ TCS ON 28.03.2013
A sweet yet devotional prayer Service was conducted on 28th of March 2013 as
a concluding ceremony of the Academic year 2012-13. Students gathered with
flowers in their hands and offered them to God Our Loving Father as a
gesture of love and thanks for the wonderful blessings showered by Him. “Too
many petals make a flower” was the theme of the programme. Presentations
were displayed of the curricular as well as extra-curricular activities
conducted during the year. Readings from the Holy Scriptures and hymns were
sung.
New movable Basketball boards were blessed and inaugurated by Fr. Anil on
28th March 2013. The boards were bought in order to make available
Basketball game to the Trinitarians on the newly laid inter-locked courts.
Later all the teachers tried their best to put the ball in the basket and
the students enjoyed cheering them up.
Later the dance floor was opened and the students rocked to the tunes of the
songs.
In short, the Academic year ended up with much fun and the students carried
home their beautiful school memories to preserve them.
